ATTENION: 7thgen civic owner

ATTENION: 7thgen civic owner

On July 23, 2005 sat there will be a 7thgencivic Spring/Summer meet at Vancouver Island, and any 7thgen owner is welcome to come along with us. We\'ll photoshoot, bbq, and cruise.

The below is from Island owner from www.7thgencivic.com

Early in the morning i\'ll go to costco to get all the BBQ food, i\'ll dish out $100 if i have to. All you guys from the mainland will take an early ferry and arrive in nanaimo at around 11 or 12. We\'ll meet up at mal-u parking lot for a photoshoot and introduce ourselves. Then we\'ll cruise to parksville to take the OLD HIGHWAY to Courtenay. Keep in mind that the roads are twisty and lots curve and there are several lil towns that we\'ll past by which has ocean-front property where we can stop for photoshoots. When we hit courtenay i\'ll lead us around courtenay and comox to show off our civics. We\'ll finish the cruise at a sand box in courtenay where there is two volleyball court. This is where i\'ll have my friends bring a BBQ grill and set up so that when we get there we\'ll start grillin the food, play beach volleyball and talk civics.

FERRY COST
ALL RATES ARE ONE PERSON AND ONE CAR, ONE WAY

-Weekend: $43.25

it does sound expenssive, but we are curising in Van Island rather than richmond. Plus it will be something different. Road, ppls, places are all different.

no kidding, ferries are not $50 and it $50 on food? is that what you're saying? $50 on food should last you a good 3-4days if you are planning on cooking on your own.

-Weekend: $43.25

43.25 x 2 and 10 bux for food. around 100 bux, if we decide to go go cart than add a little bit more.

it's another experience, why always cruise in richmond or vancouver where civics are really not THAT fancy anymore. unlike vancouver island, everyone drives bmw, 350z or g35 in vancouver and civics just don't get any attention there anymore.

actually what i meant was 50 one way and 50 back... PLUS the cost of food lol oh and thats only if you go by yourself.. add the cost for a passenger :S

oh and i prefer to cruise up to whistler if i want new scenery or out to the okanagan such as kelowna/kamloops/ penticton... i hate sitting and waiting on the ferry, not to mention all the scrapage youll get going on and off the ferry ramps

anyways back on topic
